Hi,
I'm a Park Ranger at Ninety Six National Historic Site and I'm trying to research the Birmingham family. Our history shows that a James Birmingham was the 1st Patriot Revolutionary War soldier killed in South Carolina in 1775.
All we know is that James was in SC in the Long Canes area by 1763 & when he was killed in November 1775 he left a widow & large family.

Please email me any information regarding the Birmingham family?
Thanks for your help.
