I just came across this site by accident, im glad I did, My family are all Berminghams from from a place called Cloneen/Mullinahone on the mountain of Sliabh Na Mban in Co Tipperary, Ireland, Most of us now live in Dublin. I currently reside in New York City...but my grandfather, James(Jim) Bermingham a historian mainly as a hobby, worte a book called True Stories From Irish History, which is about the bermingham family and how they got from Normandy to Tipperary, Richard De Bermingham I think was the first to arrive in the twelfth century....my grandfather spent most of his life looking for his grave he know was somewhere in cloneen, to cut a long story shot it was found about 14 years ago, my grandfather did it up and we have photos of it, i should email them to you. We were always told stories by my granfather of our family history as kids of our family history. My grandmother is also called Jean Bermingham (nee mc philips). Both are still in alive and living in dublin. If you would like to find out some more info on the berminghams and the book my granddad wrote contact me....
