Thanks very much for your response.I've seen references to the Ligon/Lygon families in the published record of Plantagenet descendants [Roberts, Faris, et al.], though my connections to the Berkeleys don't extend to the colonial era.Thomas Berkeley's da., Elizabeth, married Richard Beauchamp, earl of Warwick (overseer of the trial of Jeanne d'Arc, 1431); this is my particular line of interest.
