Larry;
See my post at #373.I believe your ancestor is George BERKLEY c1763-1819, RevWar Vet.In 1784 Charlotte Co, VA he married Sarah "Sally" WHEELER.Sarah (WHEELER) BERKLEY is in Charlotte Co, VA 1820 and 30 census; and 1850 Botetourt Co, VA census at age 84 with Wm PAXTON 62 and Hannah PAXTON 63 - Hannah must be her daughter, b 1787, soon after George and Sarah married.Based on the 1820 and 20 census records, it looks like George and Sarah had at least 10 children before he died; including 2 males b 1804-1810, one of whom was probably George N BERKLEY b 1810 and in the 1850 Appomattox Co census....
There was a George BERKLEY in the 1787 Loudoun Co, VA Pers Prop Tax List.There is a long line of BERKLEYs who lived in Fairfax and Loudoun Co, VA from the mid-1700s.One was Reuben BERKLEY who left a 1787 will in Loudoun Co which included son George BERKLEY.The Loudoun Co, VA BERKLEYs are hard to sort out.Reuben had 13 siblings, and I don't have all of there descendants, so there may have been other George BERKLEYs - don't jump to the conclusion that this is your line.But it's a strong contender for a good place to research.
Good luck and please post any new information here.
