I am looking for Berkey relatives connected to my Polly Berkey (1827-1907) married to John Custer (1825-1915). John is some sort of cousin to Gen. George Armstrong Custer and are still trying to make that connection. We know nothing of Polly Berkey's family. Any help on this person??? They are my gr. gr. grandparents. Their daughter was Polly Custer (1859-1928) married to Jacob Hershberger (1856-1939) Any connections are appreciated. Thanks!!
