Hi Sharon,
Just read your message about Dietrick Berk and his family. I have reason to believe that his son Peter may have been my husband's great great great grandfather. The only question I have is that the family spell their name Burk now. Does that mean anything in your research? Do you happen to know who Peter and Catharine (Man) Berk's children were? My husband's great great grandmother was Cornelia (Burk)Berk who married John Weaver in Wayne Co., OH and her parents were Peter and Catharine Burk. They moved to Ionia or Montcalm Co., Michigan in the 1860's or so. I'd appreciate any information you might be willing to share. Thanks. Jean
