Here is another record for you. This one comes from the Emihamn database of CD Emigranten, made from registrations with the Swedish port police before leaving Sweden. (The last record, from Emibas, showed his registration to leave the parish, so naturally the Emihamn record is a few days later.)

They can provide the name of the "feeder ship" taking Ludvig to Hull, England. He would have then boarded a train to go to a port city, such as Liverpool or Southampton. There he would board the larger ship for the rest of his journey. The Regional Archive (Landsarkiv) will not have the name of the final ship, but they will provide his travel agent and travel agents usually worked with a particular shipping line. That helps limit the choice of ships he would have boarded.
