I am searching for information on any of the 5 sons of Johannes Bergmann who was the German Army Bandmaster in the early 1800's. One of his sons, Jacob was my great-great grandfather, born in Stuttgart in 1818. Another son was Carl and there were 3 others - all five came to America in the mid 1800's and had careers in music.
