Your ancestor did not leave France because of the revolution. He came to Canada before that around 1665. Andre eventually bought a farm in St-Nicolas (across the river from Quebec City).

Charles Bergeron married Angélique M.-Angélique Houde at Ste-Croix, Qc on November 1758. I have info on his ancestors if you want them.
