Hi,
I am in search of some lost information. My father who was adopted in 1952, who was born on March 21, 1951, was put up for adoption. His birth given name was J. Egide Bergeron. He was adopted in Rimouski. His name now is Joseph Benoit Simard. I have been looking for some time now and still have found nothing of his birth parents. If anyone might know of anything, it would be a great help. We are not exactly sure of where he was from, because the secretary who signed his papers told me he could be from the misericorde, St. Jean, or Gaspe. So this could involve alot. So, it is hard to know.
