Talk to me... My mother is Desneiges Bergeron. I am the sixth generation descendent of Pierre Bergeron who married Francoise Tetreau in Saint Hyacinthe, Quebec on Oct 15, 1798. His parents were Charles Bergeron and Angelique Houle. The story in our family was that the Bergerons left France at the time of the French revolution to escape death and set-up camp in Quebec (I can't verify this tale). The family lived in the Saint Hyacinthe region until a migration into the United States during the 1910s took place. I don't know if we are relations since Bergeron is probably the most popular Quebceois name there is. In any case, e-mail me at grileype@aol.com and Je parle Francais, moi.

Greg Riley
