I am looking for info on a woman Bergeron, born in Dobbs Co., NC, ca. 1767. Related (daughter?) of Elias Bergeron. Married to John GARRIS ca. 1785, children Lewis, Nehemiah, William that we know of. Supposedly French Huguenots.
Also any info on the family in general, or the surname. Info in French o.k.
