Thanks for your "instant" reply. This all makes sense with the Nathalie rather than Athalie,but my Pierre was born 17 May 1854 and md in CT, 4 Nov 1875 to Eugenie Amirault. I did find this in vital records in Hartford and also in Windham CT. So now I am wondering, is it possible that they had more than one son that had the name of Pierre and then a middle name? Just a shot in the dark. Always thought my grandfather was Arthur Pierre and just recently found his name was Pierre Arthur. Had a neighbor at one time and she was from a family of 18 children, all the boys were named Joseph and all the girls, Mary. Then they all used their middle names to indentify them.
