My line of Francois Ledoux Mar. a Catherine Bergeron in 1812. She is listed as dau.of Joseph Bergeron and Marie Esther Pratt. They went to Clinton Co., NY about 1813 And names Became Francis Ladieu and Catherine Shepard.
Berger became anglicized to Shepard. I am told Bashaw is dit for Shepard also and I see some Bashaw"s in Moerrs, NY in early 1800"s.
My Ladieu"s became also Ladue and settled in Willsboro, NY.Send me any names and dates and I'LL see if any fit my 10000+ index.
