Then this must be part of your family.. Elaine M Bergeron Grossman By Tulsa World Staff reports (Tulsa OK) 1/12/2003 GROSSMAN -- Elaine M. The family of Elaine M. Grossman would like you to rejoice with us in the celebration of our Mother, Nana, and Sister's going Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2003, at the age of 72 years. She was born October 11, 1930, at Bottineau, ND to Leo F. and Claudia (DuBois) Bergeron. She was reared in the Tarsus (ND) Community and was a 1948 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Willow City, ND. She continued her education at Minot State Teachers College where she earned her Teaching degree. She was married June 3, 1951, in Bottineau, ND to Reuben Grossman. She spent most of her working life caring for the elderly at Sterling House and Southern Hills Retirement Community in Tulsa. She was an active member with Christ Life Fellowship. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including reading, listening to music, and playing the piano. Loving family members include: 3 sons, Guy Grossman and his wife, Agnes of Paris, France, Gary Grossman of Seattle, WA, Kurtiss Grossman of Tokyo, Japan; 3 daughters, Kathryn Bailey and her husband, Bruce of Cabot, AR, Kristy-Jo Grossman of Seattle, WA, Karie Ray and her husband, Jon of Owasso, OK; 11 grandchildren, Krista, Ashley, Derek, Nicole, Danielle, Meghann, Geoffrey, Jon Steven, Athena, Tanner, and Leo; 2 great-grandchildren, Skyler and Baby Sharp; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Muriel and Marvin Harrison of Mesa, AZ, Lyla and Brent Rutledge of Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a son, Kevin; her husband, Reuben; and a brother, Joseph. We would like to leave you with this memory of Elaine. God saw her getting tired and the cure was not to be so He put His arms around her and whispered, "Come with Me." With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away. Although we couldn't bear to lose her, we could not ask her to stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands laid to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Public visitation for Mrs. Grossman will be open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2003, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso OK. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2003, at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa, OK with interment to follow. Officiating will be Reverend Tony Hill. Casket bearers will be Guy Grossman, Gary Grossman, Kurtiss Grossman, Jon Ray, Jon Steven Ray, Bruce Bailey and Derek Bailey. Grateful appreciation to her "Prayer Warriors" Jene Pointer, Rayma Adams, Betty Hulsey, Marybeth Slabby, Darlene Stubb and Sharon Hill.
