The Bergeron family I am researching includes George Guillaume Bergeron, b. 1713 St Onge, France. He married Agnes de la Renaudierre who was born in Kaskaskia, Illinois. George was in the French Army as was Agnes' father, Phillipe LaRenaudierre, b. in Perigord France. Her mother was Perinne Pivers, b. in Vitrei, Betagne, France. George Guillaume Bergeron moved with his wife to Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana and his son Pierre was born there in 1748. Pierre married Marie Marguerite Moreau in 1771. There son was Valerien Bergeron, b. 23 Sep 1752 in Pointe Coupee Parish, LA. He married during 1818 in New Roads, Pointe Coupee Parish, Marie St. Cyr. Their daughter Julia Bergeron, b. 14 Oct. 1833 in Pointe Coupee, LA. married 18 Dec 1853, James Madison Hurst, b. 16 Jul 1817 in Meadville, PA. Their daughter Julia Madison Hurst was my great grandmother.
