Jacob Berger, Columbus, Ohio, mid-1800's

I am looking for Jacob Berger who married Martha Taylor and lived in Columbus, Ohio, in the late 1800's and possibly early 1900's. Their son William Ezra Berger is my great grandfather who came to Indiana in the late 1880's with a work crew building water towers for the railroad as our family story goes. It is also oral family history that our family originated in the Alsace-Lorraine region of France/Germany and came west through Pennsylvania. I would appreciate any information on Jacob, Martha or their families.
