Yes certainly. I have been looking at the varients of the name which originally was Wetzstein and I think it was German/Jewish or Russian/Jewish. The name seems prevelaent in Swit. Austria, Germany and Russia prior to immigrating to the USA. 1617 seems to be earliest mention. I find this facinating.
