My famliy can over from Poland, the 1920 census shows Russia. They lived in New Jersey and then moved to D.C.

I have checked the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census in NJ, DC and NY, however I can only find one I can only find one family member with his family on the 1920 census, Barney Berger.

His named may have been "americanized" however, since I can not find the rest of the family and know that they were here during this time, are there other verations of the name Berger that I could look for? I was told by a famliy member maybe Bergerlow or Bergelow and have checked the census but not luck...
