My great grandfather was Kinsey Burgan (sp?) He was born January 12, 1834 in Iva, South Carolina and died in Morgan, TX in 1919. I believe his father was Nelson Bergan (sp?) born about 1806 in North or South Carolina. I've searched various spellings of the surname and haven't been able to go back any further on this line. I've seen the surname spelled several different ways, which makes this search more difficult. Can anyone help in finding information on these folks? Thank you. Deanne
