Wife #2 Marie Barbara Hilderman, b. Germany 1823. Children by wife 1: John Peter, b. Germany 1844, moved to yakima and raised children there.; Lewis (Louis) Gilbert, b. Columbus Michigan 1851; Paul, b same 1853; Fred, b Michigan 1854; Margarett b. Chesaning, Michigan 1855 ( married William S. Cooper). Chidren by wife #2: John C? b.Yipsilante, Michigan abt 1857; George William, Jr. b. Owosso Michigan 1858; David, b. Owosso 1865.
George Jr. married twice: 1) Ann (I think Willie Ann Deken) 1877 had one sone, Walter, b. Prob. Traverse City abt 1878. wife #2: Grace Powlison m 1887. Children: Myrtle, b. Traverse City 1889; Fred, b. Traverse City 1890, Clarence, b. Peninsula Township, Grand Traverse, Michigan 1893; Earle, b. Traverse City 1902. George and Grace were married in Grand Traverse. Moved to Yakima Washington in 1903. Any connection???
