I saw your message on Bergs of Byneset, Norway on GenForum. My gg-grandma was Martha Berg. She was born on May 25, 1826 in Etne, Norway. She married Lars Tesdahl in 1854 and they immigrated to Illinois in the summer of 1854. I don't know if Etne is near Byneset, or if we are related. Any information we can share would be helpful. I have a lot of information on the "Tesdahl Clan" in Iowa and South Dakota.
