My grandfather was John Berg. He was from Sweden,I think. He also settled in the Dakota's around Spearfish and Deadwood. He was one of the first firemen there and laid the waterworks for the city. I have newspaper clippings from that time. Do not know much more. His wife's name was Minnie Carleson. Don't know if there is any connection. I am just starting my search.
