I have my GG Grandmother Corlena "Lena" Berg (born in Westphalia, Germany, Aug. 18, 1861 - March 04, 1951) married to August Edward Klaas (b. Klaasville, Lake Co., IN, 21 Dec. 1855 - 03 Jan. 1921) who is the son of Henry Klaas Jr. and Ellen (per census) or Laura Eyrich. I don't know who Corlena's parents are but have another Berg connection: Henry Jr.'s sister, Anna Maria Klaas, married John Berg and had two daughters, one of whom, Anna Maria (1863-1932) married into the extensive Echterling family. I don't know the name of the second daughter. I imagine the connection is there somewhere!
