Hello,
My ancestor Jane BERESFORD was born about 1820 at Waters, Staffordshire.
In 1841 she was living at Reapsmoor, Staffordshire with Isaac and Dorothy BERESFORD. (I'm not certain of how they and Jane are related.)
She had a son Thomas BERESFORD, born 1839 and his father was listed as Thomas SMITH.
In 1851 Jane was living with her uncle Thomas at Reapsmoor with her daughter Ann, who was 6 months old. She had two more sons, Frederick and Albert, who were boarding nearby.
I cannot locate her in 1861, does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions.
