Searching for information about Thomas Beresford. He was born C.1846, Co Stafford England. He was a potter. Came to New Zealand on the Light Brigade in 1864 and then joined the New Zealand Army. He married Georgiana? Maxwell in 1865 and they had 1 son, Walter Edwin. Thomas was washed overboard of a ship either going to or coming back from Fiji and we have been unable to locate his death cert. Any help please
