These are some published sources.
1) Americans of Royal Descent, Charles H. Browning, 1986
2) Ancestral Roots of Certain American Colonists Who Came to America before 1700, Frederick Lewis Weis, 1999
3) From Alfred to Henry III, Christopher Brooke, 1969
4) Queens of England, Agnes Strickland
5) The Magna Charta Sureties, Frederick Lewis Weis, 1999
6) The Oxford Book of Royal Anecdotes, Edited by Elizabeth Longford, 1989
7) The Oxford Illustrated History of Britain, Kenneth O. Morgan, 1984
8) Dictionary of British History, J. P. Kenyon, 1981

There are only a few of the many other books for you to check your information. You will find that much of what you find on the internet is undocumented, so beware. Look instead to books to document what you find. Use your library. Go to Genealogy centers. The people are very helpful.
