I have recently found a copy of "The Church Tablet" published for the First Reformed Church in Passaic, NJ
March 1908. On the back page is a copy of the weddings recorded by the church entitled " Record of marriages solemnized at Acquackanonk and Pompton" (New Jersey)
In the list is Joris Doremus and Antje Berdan June 21, 1777. No relation to me, this paper was in my great aunts things and I think this may be the First Presbyterian Church in Passaic now. It was a family church and this appears to be the church newletter. Have no idea why there is a list of the 1775- 1779 weddings on the back page.
THought this might help. LuAnn Nagel
