I cannot get any farther than Michael Bader b 1730 somwhere near Wuerttemberg Germany. Maybe you have some missing links?

On the Benz side, Bertha Johanna Benz child of Henry Gottlieb or G. Henry Benz and Christina (Bader) Benz.

Surnames of my family are Bader/Baeder/Benz/Bussard/Sheldon.

The Baders in my line trained soldiers for George Washington and fought in the revolutionary war (he came from Germany to train in 1776).
Back in Wuerttemberg Germany, some of these Baders lived in the Castle of Von Hohengren and Michael or Jacob Bader was mayor of this part of Wuerttemberg for 20 years.

I have some writings stating that the castle was built in the 1100's and an italian princess was buried in the walls under glass. We housed Martin Luther King probable before the diet of the worms.

Let me know if you have any info.
THX, Trish
