I've been looking for more information on this ancestor without too much success. The information I have about her is as follows:
I have a copy of her mother's will where she lists her daughter EMALINE as being deceased (The will is under the name Barbara HOGAN, but I believe she was re-married). The will was filed in 1861, so Emaline must have passed away before that (family has said she died 16 June 1859, while giving birth to youngest son)
Marriage to Charles COLLARS someday between Mar 13-20, 1851. Four sons with Charles: Charles Augustus, Andrew Jackson, George, and Emerson A. After her death her step-sister, Mary HOGAN, moved in to help raise the children.
I've seen her name misspelled as AMELIA on some documents.
I'm hoping to maybe track down her father and maybe even Barbara HOGAN's maiden name. ANY help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
