I am descended from the Bentzel's who changed their name to Pensyl after they came to Ohio in the early 1800's. Family eventually resided in the counties of Ross, Fayette, and Highland. Would like to correspond with any family members with connections to Peabody and Wells families. My grandmother was Mernith Etta (Pensyl) Wells, daughter of William Leonard Pensyl and Ida Katherine (Kate) Peabody. William was the son of John Milton Pensyl and Martha Melinda Wise. John Milton son of Leonard Pensyl, son of Johann Philip Bentzel. Lynn Johnson, Beauty, Ky.
