Hi everyone, I'm going to post this only for the record. I'm finding too many trying to mix Catherine to the wrong spouce. It reads in the Public Advertiser (Hagerstown), that Catharine (Bentz) Neikirk was the wife of John Neikirk.
It also lists their children as follows :Elizabeth, George, John, Jacob, Daniel, Johanis, Henry, Michael, Joseph, Samuel and David Neikirk
Jacob Bentze died interstate around 1827 and his daughter Catherine died in 1820.in Washington Co. Md
I hope this helps someone.
