Dear Jennifer,

Just curious. I also have a great great grandfather named Rognald Bentson ( changed from Berntson ). His son Bernt Bentson is my great grandfather. Otto was his son. His son Roger is my father. The Bentsons lived in South Dakota. Some came to California, where I live, and quite a few went to Oregon. Some of the names don't sound familiar but perhaps there is some connection somewhere. I am new to genealogy, but I do have some of the Bentson family traced back to Norway.
