My great-grandfather was Martin Benson. He emigrated from Norway (where I don't know) to North Dakota via Minnesota. His date of birth was April 14, 1863 (maybe 1862). Other family names that maybe his brothers are Henry (Henrik?), and Barron. Does any of this match up with you? Thanks Gayle
