It was from the city of Melrose, but I assume it was the pratice statewide. It is the same as certificates that I have for Massachusetts for all the decades of the twentieth century. Many of the certificates that I have to support my genealogy are displayed on my website http://www.somesfamily.tribalpages.com. I was hoping that this message was responding to my query.
