while searching my family tree i came across some newspapers of my granddads in which there was a story of a sir william bradshaw and his forture he left in 1770 of £24 million and a connection to a bentham family (the benthams millions) .. do's anyone know of a bentham/bradshaw connection ? names& places that my hold the key are (lancashire, wigan,thomas bentham, roger or john bradshaw &the trustree holder sir robert holt leigh
the wigan daily despatch also ran the bentham/bradshaw story in jan 1953. good look
