I AM TRYING TO TRACE MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER,ALICE BENTHAM.SHE WAS BORN ABOUT 1855 IN LATHOM,LANCASHIRE. ON HER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE OF 1877 HER FATHER WAS JAMES BENTHAM (BOATMAN) BUT I CANNOT FIND ANY TRACE OF HER IN 1871 CENSUS.IN 1881 CENSUS SHE WAS MARRIED TO A JOSEPH GANDY,AND LIVING IN RUNCORN,CHESHIRE WITH 2 CHILDREN. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
