My Grandfather is George William Bentham. He was born in Oakham in 1926 and is the son of John Henry Bentham (aka Harry) 1906-1975ish and Kathleen Emma Dexter (Bentham) 1905 - 1932ish. He has two sisters that are twins (Jean & Joyce) Born in 1929 ish.
My Grand father served in the Navy during the war and after that moved up to Scotland to marry my Grandmother.
I'd love to hear from anyone that can help me to find out more about my family history.
Also I have more information about The Benthams of Oakham if anybody needs any.
