My grandmother Gladys BENTHAM and her sister Lilly married Thomas RUDDUCK and Thomas CHEETHAM (respecively) on the same day and in the same ceremony on 4th August 1934 at PARBOLD, LANCASHIRE.The two Thomases were boatmen on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.

My great grandparents were Henry BENTHAM and Hannah TAYLOR of Parold
married in 1907.

Lilly b. Jan 1908 d. in infancy
Gladys b. Dec 1908
Dora b. 1811
Lilly b. 1912
Ernest b. 1918 m. Alice Herbert.

My great grandfather Henry Bentham's parents were William and Ruth.

Henry Bentham b. 1876 married Hannah Taylor in Parbold in 1907

William Bentham b. 1896 d. 1981
