Any information would be appreciated.
I was born on March 3, 1962 in NYC, Brooklyn I believe. My birth name was James William Benson and at birth I was given up for adoption, I think some sort of Brooklyn Catholic service, and I was adopted by William and Eleanor Dement of 76th street, Brooklyn NY, Bay Ridge.
My adopted name is William Francis Dement Jr.
I was given a copy of the original birth certificate with the name James William Benson but lost it in a fire several years ago.
I am actively looking for my Benson birth mother and any siblings I might have had.
