I'm looking for information on Mattison Benson who may have lived in New Jersey around 1940. It is believed he died around 1944 and was born in the late 1800's. He had a brother "Art" maybe Arthur from New Jersey. Mattison had an illegitimate son with Alice Varner of Johnstown PA. This son was born in 1934. Mattison never married Alice, but did have a wife and two sons. This is a very unusual name, but surprisingly I haven't been able to come up with any solid leads. If you have any information that may fit this description please contact me. You would solve many life long questions of a 70 year old man who has never know more about his father then what I've listed above.
