Hi, I'm looking for descentants of Gertrude Churchill Benson who m. William John Benson 24/06/1924 Winnipeg, Manitoba. Gertrude Churchill Benson was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, parents: Eli Benson of Grates Cove and Tryphena Benson (nee Churchill). Her grandfather was Ezra Churchill of Portugal Cove. Her mother, Tryphena Benson (nee Churchill) was also living in Winnipeg, at 2 Furby Street, and she is buried in the 'Old Kildoran Cememtary'. Ezra was my step-ggrandfather, his second wife was ggrandmother, Sarah Ann Gillett (nee Moulton) of Pouch Cove. Gertrude was my grandfather, James Gillett's step-sister.
