This is a repost but I am stuck and looking for the parents of Francis Benson born abt. 1804 in NY.
I am looking for any other additional information about the following Bensons that are listed as well.
Francis Benson born abt. 1804 in NY.
1850 Broome County, Conklin Twp, NY with his wife Polly, Levi Titus, and Louisa Benson
1860 Broome County, Kirkwood Twp, NY with a wife Maria Benson Born abt. 1818 (or Salamaria or Salley), Rivo Titus Born abt. 1839, and Herbert Benson Born abt. 1849
1870 Broome County, Windsor Twp, NY with a wife Maria Benson Born abt. 1818 (or Salamaria or Salley), Laura Benson Born abt. 1859, Herbert Benson Born abt. 1849, Delia Benson Born abt. 1850, and Lilah Benson age 3 months.
1880 Otsego County, South Valley, NY living with his son's family Dr. James H. Benson born abt. 1849 (same as Herbert in previous census records), his daughter in-law Delia A. (Heath) Benson born abt. 1850, grandaughter Lila born 1870, grandson Orton Benson born abt. 1872, and grandaughter Bessey E. Benson born abt 1879.

Dr. James H. Benson born abt. 1849 lived in Cortland, NY Lived on Maple Ave. in 1920. Married Delia Heath. B abt. 1850.
Had three children:
Lila Benson Dickson. Born abt. 1870. Married to Edward J. Dickson. Lila died in 1964, and is buried in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
Orton H. Benson born abt. 1872. Married Lena Irish. Orton migrated to Connecticut. He was a cigar maker and owned a farm in Branford, CT. He died in 1950 in Connecticut, but he is buried in Cortland Rural Cemetery in Cortland, NY. Orton and Lena had two children Clarence and Woodruff Benson.
Elizabeth Benson Betts born abt. 1879. Married to John Betts and lived next door to her father (Dr. Benson) on Maple Ave. Had a son named Tyler Betts. Elizabeth was still living on 8 Maple Ave. as late as 1964.
Francis has been a brick wall for some time. The only information I have regarding his parents is from his death certificate indicating that they were born in New York as well.
