I am looking for information about the Bensons from Hancock Co., Georgia. The Benson I need was married to Eleanor "Nelly" Doddridge and was killed in the Creek War. His widow moved to Clarke Co., Alabama in 1814 or 1815 with her infant son, Andrew Jackson Benson, and her father, Noah Doddridge. Thanks.
