Prew Benson, died before Feb 1799 in Greenville Co, SC (he did not die in 1792, which is a clerk's error that has unfortunately been published and now runs rampant on the Internet), and his wife Elizabeth, died before July 1813, also in Greenville Co, SC, are not buried in marked graves in north Greenville Co (at least no marked graves that have been found to date). They could possibly be buried in or near the Benson family cemetery in Travelers Rest off US Highway 25. This cemetery holds the marked graves of their son Robert, d 1825, and some of his family.
