I am a descendent of Sarah Polly Benson daughter of Benjamin Bernson and Margaret Elizabeth Wilson.
Sarah "Polly " Benson married Jesse Lamb.
I can find Benjamin Benson, Prue Benson and Harvey Benson
in 1812 in Giles COunty, Tennessee as they sigh the petition to form Elkton, Tennessee.
I am wondering if you know the reason they moved from
1800 Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina to
1812 Giles County, Tennessee 1812 Tax Lists?
I am trying to find any information on Sarah "Polly" Benson. According to census records she is born in North Carolina and marries Jesse Lamb in about 1805. I am trying toi find out where they are married.
In addition do you know if the Bensons were Quakers?
