I am related to Cephas Webb Benson (died 1832) who is mentioned in Thomas Benson's will by way of a bequest of $100. Cephas Webb Benson's father's name was Cephas Renaldo Benson, he also had a son named Cephas Renaldo Benson along with 7 daughters (Amelia Jane, Elizabeth, Lucinda, Margaret, Matilda, Ann Sophia and Susan Harriet). I do not know how he fits in with Thomas, maybe that was Cephas Webb's uncle. If you are interested in communicating further please feel free to email me at shmitchell@radix.net
