KILLED BY THE CARS. -- On last Thursday evening, a Swede named PETER BENSON, working in the employ of the B. & M. R.R. at Garden Grove, attempted to get on a train while in motion, by climbing on between two flat cars. His foot slipped, and the usual result followed; he was injured so badly that he survived but a short time. MR. BENSON formerly worked in this city in the employ of Dr. Stanton.
