Hi Barbara,
Have found a little more about the John and Frances Lyon/Lion Benson. John Benson was a shoemake living in
Caswell County, NC in the 1850 census (Or I think it was
the 1850's). Their last two children were born in TN
so they moved to Overton County TN before 1860. Living
next door to John Benson and his wife was Noel Lyon/Lion
and his family with Noel's mother Martha. Noel's father
was a Rev. Sol.
