Elizabeth: I, too, am related to William Prue BENSON, he's 9th generation from me. You received several posted follow-ups and hope one of them will answer to post 270. I enjoy learning who and where my ancestor's descendents are now. From where do we learn that Frances (PROU) BENSON's mother's maiden name is Margaret "Vensauden"? We've always had Frances' mother as Margaret PHILLIPS. Would sure appreciate some documentation on that question. Would also like to know if any of you follow down to Sarah BENSON who's parents are Benjamin and Margaret DAVIS or WILSON. That double name has puzzled many for years, just wonder if anyone had yet found an answer.
